June 11, 2020 Update: The Board is working on putting together a plan for re opening the pool and tennis courts including concerns for sanitation, how it will be monitored, limiting the use, signs for use at your own risk etc. Stay tuned.
May 20, 2020 Update: In consultation with HOA legal counsel, review of CDC Guidelines and the actions of Orlando and Orange County with respect to pools and public gatherings, the Board has decided the pool should remain closed for the following reasons:
As our pool is unattended we are unable to ensure for: 1. The sanitation of bathrooms and seating areas (including the picnic tables which cannot be removed.) 2. Limits to residents using the pool to ensure social distancing and restriction on number of people.
While we know this is an inconvenience to some homeowners and residents our upmost concern is for the health and safety of the community. In addition, we are working to limit any liability to the Association which all homeowners are members.
March 20. 2020: The pool and tennis courts are closed until further notice due to COVID -19
We will continue to monitor and review this ever changing situation.
